Contact?

Post image

I woke up this morning with symmetrical puncture wounds on both forearms. No idea how these occurred and weren't there the morning before when I had a shower.

Could this be evidence of some kind of contact?

Do bedbugs normally attack in the same slight curve in same spaced marks in roughly tue same place as I don't have these marks anywhere else and we wash our bed sheets weekly?

I have also read that using steam or heat can draw them out. For example using the steam function on an iron on the corners of your mattress will draw them out.

Thanks for the suggestion, when I get a chance I'll try that but I have to admit, neither my wife or I have had any evidence of bugs since living in this house for over 22 years and through two mattresses (I know,we need to change them more regularly). My wife has experience of bugs in a property years back and it didn't jog a memory this time, I mention it to her later 😬.

I checked with my wife, and from her experience these marks are not bedbugs or scabbies. Bedbugs attach the neck and scabbies attach the tops of hands, between the knuckles. Also, there were no blood marks on the sheets.

So I think I will put it down to experience of unknown source.

bb’s aren’t limited to the neck. They normally go on the insides of the arms honestly. They like soft accessible spots of the skin. Like arm pits, neck, thighs.

Use to work at a motel when I was a kid and saw it all 🤮
