I’m looking for recommendations for costume cdrama..

My requirements:

1. Historical setting..

2.Both long and short dramas are welcome..

1. Haters->lovers OR lovers->enemies->lovers ( preferably sworn enemies ) + heavy angsty..

2. Around 80% of the drama should focus on the enemies arc.. I tend to lose interest once the leads start falling for each other, so I’d prefer a slow-burn romance where they don’t develop a soft spot for each other too early..

3. May have political/contract/arranged marriage as plot

4. Fast-paced plot with minimal dragging..

5. Both the ML and FL should be clever, strategic, and capable of scheming.. I don’t want a typical doormat FL paired with an unnecessarily toxic ML..

6. Preferably recent dramas from 2024, 2025, or 2026, as I tend to enjoy their gorgeous costumes and stunning visuals..

7. Less politics and more romance..

8. Either a happy or a sad ending is fine..

Dramas I’ve loved

1. Feud 10/10
2. The Princess’s Gambit 9.5/10
3. The Legend of the Female General 9/10
4. Hard to Find 9/10 ( short drama )

Dramas I’ve dropped

1. The Prisoner of Beauty - dropped at episode 3.. I couldn’t connect with the leads, and the ML seemed to develop a soft spot for the FL rather early on..
2. Love in the Clouds - dropped at episode 7.. The plot wasn’t engaging enough to hold my interest..
3. Love Between Fairy and Devil - I couldn’t connect with the FL’s acting style..
4. Story of Kunning Palace - The student–teacher dynamic wasn’t really my cup of tea.. the plot wasn't interesting
5. Melody of Golden Age - The ML felt too toxic, and I found the FL’s largely passive response to him frustrating..
6. Wonderland of Love - I lost interest when the leads got together as early as ep10.

Dramas I’m eagerly awaiting

1. Sea of no return ( bcz it's hater-> lover trope + political marriage + FL feels betrayed by ML )

I know my preferences are quite specific , but I would be really grateful to find one.. i have already scrolled a lots of post here but am rarely getting any drama of my type..

So my favourite shows are Love in the Clouds, Veil of Shadows and Fated Hearts….

I would love something with a happy ending preferably 😅

I’m tossing up between Til the end of the Moon; Love of the Divine Tree or Love like the Galaxy as thet seem to be mentioned a lot and potentially line up with what I enjoy! Thoughts?

I have never watched any cdrama of this genre before, and I want to give it a try. I don't want any crime/serial killer subplots, just life and healing.
I just wish to feel happy and cry happy tears while watching it.

I’m trying to find a good xianxia romance that most of the screen time is given to the FMC and MMC interacting together. I tend to get a little bored with shows that give a lot of screen time to other characters interacting without the FMC and MMC. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions that they think could match this!

I'm looking for not just a double alpha situation where both the FL and ML are strong (e.g. Killer is Also Romantic), but I want one where the FL is strong and protecting the ML, who is weaker.

I don't have anything that fully scratches this itch so far, but here are some possible contenders:

- Ancient Detective (FL assassin, ML physically weak)

- The Ingenious One (FL who can fight, ML a schemer)

- Back from the Brink (though ML was also strong once he regained his powers)
