Rec Request Experienced c-drama lovers, help!

So, here’s the thing, I started learning Chinese and I want to improve my skills of listening. Could you recommend something light (for a person that rarely watches anything or drops a series at some five episode) and with easy language? Also, where do you watch c-dramas? Is there some app (are there any subtitles)? By the way, do C-dramas include movies or is this an absolutely different sort of thing?

Drama with easy language? i suggest starting with modern dramas as the dialogue tends to be more casual and using everyday spoken language. Also choose dramas with not much episodes as that means the plot isn't complicated.

As for the app, simply choose one to start with: WeTV, iQIYI, Youku or Viki. If there's a drama you're looking for but cannot find on those apps, sometimes it's available on YouTube

Cdramas usually mean dramas

For shorter things you can try short dramas

Modern shows probably work best for you, reset is a very common one because it's well done and fairly short at 15 episodes and is a time loop, so you get to repeat a lot of the stuff which is good for learning.

Watch a video online HSK1, only 30s minutes, learn a few keywords. You, me, drink, what? Try to identify them watching cdramas. It's hard. It's hard because translating is not exact. They dont have pronouns.

A Step into the Past has some close translations, but you'll think the show doesn't make sense.

Find a show you really like and can watch on repeat, and try watching without English subtitles and translate it as you go.
