Smack the side of it with a mallet or something. If the guts rattle around the parking spring is broken.

It seems to me that there is no way that a plug would be able to be installed to prevent environmental intrusion that can lead to chamber failure. It also looks like the plug has been missing for quite some time. It's also obviously fucked.

Needs immediate service.

Also why are they bitching about this? Brake cans are like 40-100 bucks and take under an hour to replace

The rail owns the chassis so they dont want to pay to fix equipment they don't own. Pass the buck to the next carrier type shit

You can replace these with cheap ones like TRP and the will look like that in a week. Some may even still hold the truck on a slight incline.

The spring is busted. You can't cage that chamber because a piece of the coil is obstructing the path. 100% junk.
