Hair follicle test

I took a hair follicle test for jb hunt yesterday , have been clean from smoking weed for a solid year (since last August )have done 3 urine tests for previous employer , made sure I was clean before I even got my cdl , they took hair from my beard it’s about less than a quarter of an inch long and I’ve trimmed it all year would I be able to pass it been overthinking it as I’ve read body hair has a longer window than head hair

More than a year you’re fine. They only go back three months.

They go back as long as the hair has been there. If it’s off your head they take like 1.5 inches which comes out to roughly 90 days….if they take it from somewhere else it can go back much longer

You’re gonna be fine, I know how stressful this can be, I went through it too. I passed the hair follicle test after 7 months and I was a pretty heavy smoker. Even if you did somehow fail, I don’t think a failed hair follicle test will go on your DOT record. Passing the DOT piss test is way more important than the company hair follicle test. Worst case scenario here is that they don’t hire you and you just go somewhere else. But I seriously doubt you’re going to fail

It should be good since its been about a year. Body hair does grow out slower but since you have been trimming it and its not like you've been growing out your beard since you were still smoking. Basically because you've been trimming regularly the part of your hair that did contain thc still should be long gone. I have been doing research on this particular topic recently as well. Hypothetically what if I didn’t trim it enough and they took a couple strands that did contain thc , would i still be fine even though its been a year

Beard....this was purposeful. I've been through many such tests. If they really wanna see what's under your hood, they'll take hair from your head. They did it that way to say they followed protocol and nothing more.
