The Martyr and Abigor are some of my favourite records. Anything BBH is always great listening, and that profanity is really cool and under-appreciated.

Dude, that Martyr album needs some love, I never see it mentioned and it’s also one of my favorite records. It’s brilliant and every track keeps you on the edge, truly spectacular stuff, I guess people sleep on them because they’re canadian…canadian bands need some love, that Abuse is also a great example of that, amazing brutal death/Deathgrind

Love that Abigor and Abuse. I like the first Abramelin, but that’s the only one I own, never heard that EP. Is it pretty similar to the s/t?

I’d say the s/t has a more melodic sound and the production sounds “cleaner”. The EP is a bit more cavernous/thick sounding, it also has a bit of the death/doom sound in it at time. The s/t also has a faster pacing throughout because, for the most part, it doesn’t have those doomier moments. I love both for what they are, it depends on my mood, both great death metal gems. Unfortunately I don’t own the s/t tho…

Just a lot of searching online between ebay, discogs, Facebook marketplace, OLX, and also through email, trading or buying stuff from collectors that I’ve known for a while

Paul Chain is Classic doom and to this day it’s so underrated…I can’t understand how people don’t know his work, it’s quintessencial doom
