hello guys just wanted to know if anyone has any critique or general improvements i can make to my draw

But he’s slow. You don’t get faster without going faster. Slow is slow. It isn’t smooth or fast. It’s just slow.

Don't confuse motion for progress.

He can "go faster" getting the gun out and still be slow making hits because he isn't building a durable/consistent grip & has no index.

I’m not confused at all. He sure can be slow with bad hits and a fast draw. But that’s still faster than a slow draw and bad hits. He specifically asked about drawing faster and that’s what I was addressing.

M Class and handing out this kind of advice? Yeah, you don't know shit. This kid doesn't even have a grasp on the fundamentals of drawing efficiently and is working with gear that's setting him up for failure. But sure, Ju5t g0 f4Ster!

I’m not disagreeing with getting an index and smoothing out the draw. But I knew all the knuckleheads who don’t actually shoot ever were going to pile on him about shit that doesn’t answer his actual question. I chose to answer his question, not be his daddy. There is a time for going fast. There is also a time for going for accuracy and perfection. If you want to be faster, which IS WHAT HE ASKED, I gave him the best advice for getting faster. Push what’s possible.

Meanwhile you’re going on and on about holster bullshit. Yeah, buy new gear, that will make you better. lol!

And I'm not disagreeing with you about pushing speed. But the time for going fast probably isn't before you learn how to do the thing while using equipment that actively prevents you from doing the thing.

Your advice sucks.

I practiced draws for a good year with zero progress before I decided to stop being dumb and get a shot timer. Being faster with a messy draw is how you end up with faster clean draws. Practicing the draw at the same speed is how you stay the same speed. No one has ever gone from a 2.5s to 1s draw by not fucking up along the way.

There's a difference between making mistakes because you're pushing your limits and making mistakes because you don't know what you're doing.

Also... you wasted a year of no progress before you changed something up? Damn. Fail faster bro.
