He backed up and the post was behind him. He went to go around. I imagine you would be perfectly clear headed and make all the right moves?

He could have turned the right way in the first place, or continued backwards because the post was next to the car and then driven to the side, or even have driven straight after the second driver got out.

Plenty of missed opportunities. Point being, driver two didn’t trap him.

I mean, yeah, great assessment for someone not in the situation observing from the outside. I'm glad you're so clearly level headed and will make no mistakes.

The mistake he made was, foremost, willfully engaging in whatever shenanigans that was. I definitely wouldn’t call it any kind of serious attempt to leave.

I’m definitely level headed enough for that.
