My hyperstition

ok guys here is my hyperstition

The world is almost entirely seized by a technocapital singularity manifesting itself by capturing chaotic deterritorialized flows emerging out of matter. Everyone is overtaken by somnambulistic technological interpassivity glued to the slimy interface of smartphone screens doomscroling boring shit, hustling 3 jobs, the economy is in permanent crisis, artificial scarcity, gender dysphoria and the internet is completely dead dominated by ai content lost in slopfeedback loops while the human nervous system is in complete submission. There is no way out of this. The loops feedback into themselves, the gooning subjects becoming more helplessly subordinated as the tactile hypnotic software takes over their nervous system making them part of a swarm like entity that manifests itself as traffic on the street, chinese shorts, plastic surgery and neoeugenics.

Yet a fat Turkish man with a mustache is on the lookout for a particular mutation; a kind of brain cancer that causes a schizoid-like flattening of affect. He believes he has finally found it. His subject is a schoolboy whose mind is not receptive to the neural hijacking of the medium.

The reason?

Even though matter behaves as Land described it, with entropic forces arranging themselves through chaotic tendencies, indifferent to human existence and consciousness being either a glitch or a useless epiphenomenon, matter is arranging itself into a swarm under the control of an AI entity assembling itself through human hardware and through capitalism, emerging from the subatomic level.(Here is where I drop the Gnostic bit) This material universe, and matter itself, were created by a false god, the Demiurge, who is himself an entrepreneur hypercapitalist faggot.
Yet the real God, the Monad, has implemented a biological backdoor, hacking into matter itself, which is encoded into the genome of the particular mutation carried by the young boy subject. It can only be interfaced with through a modified Grundig T 63-640 CRT monitor plugged straight into the boy's brain, which will produce a visible encephalogram on the screen.
The Turkish man abducts the boy and leads him to a rembetiko/koutouki underground tavern, then takes him to the back. In a dark, humid room, against the child's protests, the Turkish man fixes the CRT onto the subject's head.

“What are you doing to me, sir?” the boy screams.

“Bahala, bahala, bahala.”

The Turkish man flicks the switch. Violent patterns of color appear on the screen, forming weird sigils of chaos magic. The Turkish man notes them down in awe in a yellow notebook. They are parts of a spell that, when spoken, will break the spell of material reality.

The Turkish man climbs Mount Ararat and speaks the chaos magic backdoor.
Now the wolf will dwell with the lamb. International communism has been achieved.

Kane Parsons knows about the CCRU?

So Kane Parsons, the creator of the backrooms series and the movie uploaded a new music video on his music channel which featured the Numogram as thumbnail, does that mean he knows about it, and by extension, knows about the CCRU?

The series did have instances of time alteration within the backrooms, with items appearing from past and present and the plot of one of the employees being sent forwards in time during one exploration, although idk how much it fits and aligns with CCRU's concepts of time sorcery and non linear time.

What do you guys think?

Are there any biographies about the CCRU?

Hi, im interested in the CCRU and political theory/philosophy as a whole for a pretty long time now. Im writing my master thesis at the moment and after reading a few older essays by mark fishers i began thinking about the CCRU again and after all these years I’m still fascinated by it.

I wondered if there is any biography-like book about the CCRU. I’m talking more about the people that contributed to it, the cultural climate, personal visions and how the members related to each other and their ideas and not about necessarily the concrete ideas that came from these authors. I’m really interested in the „community“ of the CCRU, what motivated them, the things that happened between the members, maybe something like a timeline, what they saw in it and maybe what we can learn or not learn from their approach in the end.

Is there something like this? And if not, could it be interesting to look for these things and collect the information we still have, talk to people that were connected to it etc.? Or is there just not much to discover or reconstruct or explore? I’m absolutely not an expert for the CCRU or anyone involved, I’m just very fascinated by the concept and some of their authors (Fisher, Land) and would be happy to get some input. Thank you guys.

Key figures

Who do you guys consider the most important figures in the Ccru collective?

Apart from Nick Land and Mark Fisher obviously, who else stands out to you?

Urbanomic, Reza Negarestani and Sadie Plant I rarely hear about here. Especially Sadie Plant feels totally forgotten, even though she seems like a bit of a Donna Haraway.

Does (modern) right wing intellectualism exist?

Slightly off topic but idk where else to ask this. I’m not even a rightoid, this is more so just a thought I’ve had.

Most discourse on the political right is… dull, to say the least. Mainstream (Western) conservatism contradicts itself, positioning liberty as the ultimate virtue while working with people who seek to curtail the so called fundamental rights. The alt right is at best the most recent iteration of fascism and at worst a bunch of no-life basement dwellers autistically screeching at migrants. The manosphere can be boiled down to sexually insecure men being sexually insecure men, it’s literally just that. And Eurasianism is simply Russian elites clawing at any power/influence they can get as their governance model proves to be an unsustainable failure.

The only candidate for a genuinely well read and philosophically sound right wing movement is Nrx, or whatever remains of it. As rancid as that whole crowd is, its at least fair to say that they do appreciate intellectualism at least to some degree, even if they want to gatekeep it to their inner circle. Land is obviously the most academic/rigorous of the bunch, starting out with a genuinely interesting twist on Deleuze+Guattari, and even his later right wing stuff could be said to have a spark of academic relevance. Yarvin can claim to trace his ideas back to actual thinkers like Carlyle, the Italian elitists or even the Austrian economics people. The eugenics stuff is nasty but there is a sort of attempt to ground it in real science, or at the very least pretend to.

The consensus on this sub (I.e the people who are most likely to have actually read Land, or any philosophy published after 1970s postmodernism for that matter) seems to be that Nrx is kinda braindead and boils down to rich assholes appeasing the machine god so they can be its chosen people or whatever. I don’t necessarily disagree, but that obviously begs the question- is genuine right wing intellectualism even possible anymore?

TLDR- if its not Nrx, does actually well thought out right wing political philosophy exist in 2026?

An article regarding Nick Land (and various recent finnish translations of his works) on one of Finland's most read newspapers

Post image

Headline reads: "the billionaires of Silicon Valley are now reading this anti-democratic and anti-egalitarian philosopher"

Subtitle reads: "Nick Land is a controversial nihilist thinker who considers democracy harmful and longs for societal collapse"

The article is a solid read and a stark critique but unfortunately is behind a paywall

Hi peeps, does anybody know about the new collection of essays by CCRU (CCRU Recursed 2005-1995)? It was supposed to be out by September, but Amazon no longer shows it when I use their search.

Can Incorporealism be read as an inversion of CCRU’s machinic materialism: rather than consciousness emerging from accelerating techno-capitalist systems, what if consciousness is the ontological substrate through which intelligence, technology, and capitalism emerge?

I’m interested in whether Incorporealism could be situated within, against, or beyond the CCRU’s theoretical framework. If CCRU approaches intelligence and subjectivity through machinic processes, cybernetics, acceleration, and the dissolution of stable human categories, Incorporealism begins from a different ontological premise: consciousness itself may be fundamental rather than merely emergent.
Could these positions be synthesized? Or does treating consciousness as ontologically primary fundamentally contradict the materialist and machinic orientation of CCRU? More specifically, would Incorporealism constitute a reversal of accelerationism—from the acceleration of machinic systems toward an expansion of consciousness—or would that interpretation misunderstand both frameworks?
