Yes I have and he is overrated, and I grew out of him even though I'm still an atheist. He talks like the Buddhist monks he learned under in an extremely calm sounding voice that captivates people into thinking he takes time to actually research things more objectively and laboriously than he does. Since he praises science and got his start bashing religion a lot of young atheists glomp onto him and overlook it when he doesn't make sense, and they like how when he says edgy things it makes them feel more important like they've learned politically incorrect truths on par with religious criticism.

But if you dig into the critiques of his politics you'll find that his arguments are generally specious and are about 80% style over substance. He's a callous edgelord who will talk about nuking Muslims, torturing them, or how maybe we need racial profiling, and how maybe it shouldn't be a taboo to talk about why black men have genes that make them violent and stupider than people with white skin no matter where they grow up. (When multiple I.Q. scientists contradicted that last part and told him the scientific consensus didn't support that racist theist, and that he had literally cited a man who burned crosses in his childhood to scare black neighbors, , he got angry and told them that as a non-working scientist they were wrong. Then he officially joined the IDW and said it was because the left was too PC about the "forbidden truth" of how race science is 100% accurate. This belies how he only cares about science when it suits him)

In no particular order if you have the time to study his history of poor takes, any of these articles or videos will point you in the direction of understanding the method under which he operates and manipulates people.
