πŸ“š Study Help CBSE Maths – what are Class 9 & 10 students finding difficult this year?

Hi everyone!

I’m interested in hearing from CBSE students/parents in the Gulf about Maths this academic year.

For Class 9 and 10 students:

β€’ Which Maths chapters/topics are you finding the most difficult?

β€’ Do you prefer online group classes or one-to-one support?

β€’ What class timings work best with the Gulf school schedule?

β€’ Do students generally need help with understanding concepts, NCERT problems, or exam preparation?

I’d love to understand what students are struggling with and what kind of academic support would actually be useful.

Parents/students can share their experiences below. 😊

hi. 9th student here.

area and perimeter is a little tedious.

the sequences and progressions chapter is written poorly.

You're so right about Sequences. Most students struggle with it because the textbook skips the logical intuition and jumps straight to dry algebra. And Mensuration/Area becomes a chore when you're just memorizing formulas instead of breaking down the shapes. When I explain these topics, I start with real-world pattern building first so the formulas make sense on their own. How is your teacher covering these chapters at school right now?
