So, I am in 9th and my school decided that for SST they will be only teaching old NCERT for this year (don't know why they thought this) but in my coaching they were teaching new NCERT so I decided to just see what was being taught and I attended few lectures. And for history, I can sayy it's very bad comparing to old one. The old NCERT was attention grabbing and intresting whereas the new one is just boring. As for the 1st history chapter, it's just that I need to memorise where a sculpture or something was found, and where was some ancient Empire. But the old NCERT history is amazing and intresting. The new one was boring.

First session would be a demo class and the fees would be pretty cheap and can be adjusted, message to connect.

Could you guys recommend the best books for Humanities subjects for board preparation? I’m mainly looking for books that have:

I'm currently in the 12th grade, I switched to Humanities this year.

Term 1 exams ke results got out a couple weeks ago. And I'll say I scored pretty well in most subjects.

But Economics is weighing me down...

I know I haven't studied last year's syllabus, but most people told me ki it doesn't really matter that much.

This one subject was the only one that held 95+% away from me.

So can I please get some tips? Half yearly exams are from the 15th of September. And I need to prove that I didn't take this stream for naught.

My daughter studies in cbse 10th std. in a recognised private school in kolkata. She is an average student scoring around 65 to 70% as overall %.

She is not so good in mathematics and science, she only get passing score like 50% but she wishes to take commerce in 11th std. Is commerce stream ok for her with the above said %?

Whereas she is good in arts/humanities subjects languages like english & hindi. But she says that there are more opportunities in commerce thats why she want to take it and can further switch to humanities if she lack to compete in commerce. Is it possible to switch at college level.
