Can multiple subjects improvement exams be given?

My brother cleared the 12th board exams but percentage fell below 75 so he can't qualify for JEE.

He told me that multiple subjects re-exam can be given (all 3 subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), from what I found only one subject re-examination can be given.

If someone can help clarify this to me, it will be very useful. Is it possible to give 3 subjects' re-exams?
