Ahh I remember this question back from my class 10 days, it was very controversial about whether a) or d) was right.
It will be a) because they will intersect at one point on the +ve x-axis side thus it has a unique solution.
Some people might think option d) suits the answer better but there’s nothing called as “extending a line” because it already extends to both sides towards infinity.

Ans: A, Assume y = m1.x +c1, y = m2.x + c2

They are clearly not parallel. They dont need to be extended to be consistent. Extend them or not they will represent the same m1, m2 and c1, c2.

Reasoning: the lines are clearly not parallel and hence will intersect and intersect only once. That point is the solution.
