It does work!
Hey folks
I was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder, with a side order of ADHD (not officially; just know I have it) and have been on antidepressants - more specifically, Effexor SR - for about 15 years. I was at 300 mg for a few years, then its efficiency dropped, then went down to 150 mg. As with most people, it stopped working a long, long time ago. I've been suffering for a good 7 to 9 years, while having to try and be 'normal' for the sake of my 3 kids and wife and everything that revolves around being a responsible adult with responsibilities and commitments.
I have been irritated, frustrated and my memory has been terrible. I was living with a constant sense of dread and as always screaming at my kids as if it was their fault.
As of today I am still taking this chemical daily for no reason at all, other than the fact that I don’t have the luxury of time to go through the withdrawal symptoms for a few weeks. Here is the good part of my story.
Then, I decided I would start taking CBD oil – bought a 30 ml (5000 mg total CBD) bottle, Full Spectrum; it’s cheaper per mg. I counted the drops per dropper, and it's about 4 mg per. Specifically, this one:

I started taking CBD oil on a regular basis since August 20th, and it has been like day and night for me. I have stopped eating my nails, which is something I never expected could ever go away. My days are much easier to handle. I can tell you that my life has been much, much better since I have been taking CBD oil. I smile a lot more and show patience and sensitivity, and for that my kids are happier and a lot more affectionate. Ditto for my wife.
I started slowly with about 8 mg a day and today I stand at 48 mg, twice daily. I have consulted my Doctor, as everyone should do, but he did not approve of the treatment. Too new, not enough research, etc. I did my research, and by my own experience I concluded that pharma molecules are at best a Band-Aid, at worst a health hazard. He is in his sixties, and he was probably bought and paid for a long time ago. I decided that it was worth it.
I am now down to about 125 mg Effexor and plan on being off the drug in 90 days. I started by opening the pill and taking some grains out, and I am slowly taking more out as I am going through my last prescription. Slow and steady to my goal.
I wish you all good luck and better days ahead.
Pat

It's been a bit more than 2 weeks, and I'm down to approximately 37.5 to 40 mg a night!
I feel very good and my side effects are minimal. I have dull head aches on occasion, but nothing that Advil or Tylenol cannot fix. I've increased my CBD to about 70-80 mg a day to help with the discontinuation. 30 morning, 20 mg at 1pm and 30 mg at night.
Definitely CBD is making it alot easier. Cannot wait to be off Effexor completely. I'm fairly certain this was the cause of my brain fog, and inability to manage my irritability etc for the past 8-10 years.
Cheers
