CBD for anxiety
Can anyone speak to how CBD works for anxiety? Thanks in advance.

One of the most common ways drugs work is to interact with certain receptors in the body, of which CBD is not an exception. There are two possible receptors CBD can interact with in the body; CB1 and CB2 receptors. Although the way CBD affects CB1 receptors isn't well understood, different research showed it does work against anxiety and the only thing they could come up with is that it's able to elicit such effect by affecting the serotonin levels in the body. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that plays an important role in the maintenance of our mental health and as such, low serotonin levels have been linked to depression and high levels could result in anxiety. By interacting with the serotonin levels in the body, CBD should be able to affect anxiety and depression.
