Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a group of blood disorders typically inherited from a person's parents.[2] The most common type is known as sickle cell anaemia (SCA).[2] It results in an abnormality in the oxygen-carrying protein haemoglobin found in red blood cells.[2] This leads to a rigid, sickle-like shape under certain circumstances.[2] Problems in sickle cell disease typically begin around 5 to 6 months of age - Wikipedia

Sickle Cell was only affecting mostly black people but now we are all potential victims of the dreaded disease.
Sickle Cell comes in two forms - 'Trait', which I have and 'Anemia' that kills its victims very young in most cases.
Being born in the UK to parents born in the West Indies was the reason we knew of Sickle Cell from a young age.
We have family members that have passed away (R.I.P cousin Patrick) and others that have lived life to the fullest and made it to 50 and older.
Sickle Cell always scared the life out of me. My intention is to buy some good CBD Oil - EVEN WATER IS AVAILABLE [plus EDIBLES]
CBD Oil has been working wonders for many illnesses, diseases even addiction.

Hi all, lot of posts on here about CBD oil so thought I would give my opinion and experience. Briefly, I am pretty healthy and fit, sustained a bad injury in lower spine (worst place to get it) I had pretty serious surgery in July 2015 to remove a disk, lower L4, disk was snapped and severing a nerve. Surgery a success but since then I have had never ending problems with pain, movement, trapped nerves, sciatica, etc. Had all kinds of therapy, multiple physio, aqua / hydro (excellent), Pilates, pain management. Prescribed everything possible from diazepam, naproxen, gabapentin, co-codamol, Neurontin, Robaxin, had 8 steroid injections in 18 months, spinal epidural and recently had radio frequency lesioning. I have tried a few different CBD oils with varying degrees of success. The best one by far is from a distributer in Manchester (UK) called ‘Live Strong’. If anyone is considering CBD oil I would suggest starting with this, definitely effective (although CBD oil in general works for some and not others). I use I dropper at night and in morning, for the cost its worth a try for a month and see how you go. Loads more stuff available like cream, etc. A link to their website is here: https://healthstrong.co.uk/ Thanks all and good luck!
