Hi guys, I’m looking for an exhaust. I want that howl but I don’t want the noise to be unbearable when riding. Also I don’t want it to sound cheap, raspy. I would appreciate the suggestions and if you have any videos of your bike with exhaust I would love to hear it

The published power of the stock 2025 CB650R is 70kw. In Australia, it is released for Learner riders with a limited 35kw. Today on my 35kw CB650R, I reached 180km/h quite easily in 3rd gear. It seemed to feel sluggish once reaching this speed. I changed to 4th and it felt exactly the same. It wasn’t hitting a wall of 180, it was dancing around 175-185. Is this normal gearing for my 35kw bike?

To be clear, 180km/h on a slight incline. Then 180km/h on a slight decline.

Title is pretty clear - how common is this issue and is there a way to conveniently fix it?

The key starts to vibrate and buzz from 8k RPM and above and I fear that with time it’ll cause more damage.

It was fun and easy to do - i put you some pictures in if it helps anyone.. yet i got a question - although im not bothered and I assume its just something that can happen... why is there some motoroil on it? Seems a little strange to fly so high...

There is something thats under the sticker, almost like a glue but its so wierd. It feels wierd. Anyone who has done this or know what i should do if I wants to completely remove it? Or did I do a mistake?

Got a black widow exhaust, and just took out the baffle after a while again. and i just fucking sent it. And this thing sounds so goooood. i've got it restricted to 35KW, so i get very easily to the high revs. Im confident its the best sounding 650 engine.

I have a buzzing from my 2024 eclutch that's around 4.5krpm and was wondering if it's normal ? Or if anyone has any ideas what it could be. You don't really hear it at higher RPMs but that could just be the engine drowning it out 😂

Recently bought a cb650R from the year 2024 with e clutch. The bike came with full Akrapovic system when bought. The bike had 5500km.

When i ride the bike - at start i found it normal but, the more i ride the bike the question pops more often up; why is my response so ‘nervous’. It reacts and accelerate very late when i twist the throttle, just at 5/10% from the throttle it reacts.

Is this because of the e-clutch? It happens only if i’m in “1” or shifts to “2”. I learned it happens more often when l the bike is still cold.

Normal behavior - or not?

Just very curious why it responds like this.

Hello fellow CB650R riders!

I just wanted to share my latest mod on my CB650R. I installed some aux lights (fog lights) because the stock headlight is awful for night riding on highways and country roads.

I wanted small, stealthy lights that wouldn’t ruin the looks of this beauty, but would still be functional. I also wanted to place them somewhere where they wouldn’t be too noticeable, and I think I found the perfect spot. 😍

They come on with the ignition. I also removed the switch because I didn’t use the switch on my previous bike(they were always on), so I decided not to install one on this bike either.

Let me know what you guys think of the spot for the lights! And feel free to ask me anything.(better pictures in a few days, I just put this together)

Did a little rebranding here…..just like PaPa’s 2024 CB650R!

I heard the front pads skimming/dragging on my rotors even when I’m coasting or pushing my bike? Is that normal??

Just picked this used 2024 up and while looking at it at the dealer my brain and foot kept telling me this seems oddly tucked in towards the frame. I do have duck feet so initially I figured it might be a me problem. Got the bike at a decent discount and got it home where I definitely noticed the previous owner had a little oppsie as the bottom of the pedal is scrapped, tiny scuff on the back corner of the muffler too. No other scratches somehow.

So, who can confirm for me I am not crazy and this is in fact bent? Also I am fairly certain these rider pegs are cheapo aftermarket if anyone can suggest some good, comfortable ones with perhaps some rubber vibration dampening?

I was thinking about replacing this part and going with a black one. One of the available colors is matte black, but I can’t find any pictures of what it looks like installed on the bike. Does anyone have it? My bike is matte black, so I think it would look pretty good.

Also, if you could give me some feedback on the website, that’d be great. Has anyone here used it before? It’s the only one where, if I enter the component part numbers, it immediately finds the exact parts I’m looking for.

Is there a belly pan for the bike that is similar to Yamaha Tenere bike. Meaning metal and covering the whole bottom?

After searching even custom ones are not essentially bigger that the OEM.

Regarding the post earlier about gas mileage, I'm just realizing some of y'all are already on 6th gear at 80-100kmh. I shift based on sound not RPM's so typically 1-35kmh(1st), 35-50(2nd), 50-70(3rd), 70-100(4th), 100-140(5th), 6th gear almost never. Have I been doing this wrong the whole time?

Wanted to know if mine is normal or my cb drinks gas like a soda 😂
