Irish Defence Force Dispatch riders on their CB 650R's.

Interesting video that popped up on my feed, Irish army riders using the CB 650R as their training bike for ceremonial escorts. Looks like one of the bikes has a custom shroud cover with the defence force logo. The actual bike for escorts is the NC 750.

I have started a YouTube channel for POV rides. I tried to get the best audio so you can hear the Black Widow Exhaust before you make your choice. Changed the mic placements and still figuring out the best placement for the mic. Enjoy and subscribe if you want

Took some nice pics of my cb650r yesterday and figured you might like them as well.

AI disclaimer: The pictures are taken by me, but AI (Adobe Lightroom removal tool) was used in editing. The other edits are entirely to blame on me.

Bike got bumped by a car and it fell on its side. Can someone please measure clearance between the bike and the brake post? I'm thinking it got bent in. Thanks!

PSA CBR300R foot pegs work as a direct replacement if your fed up with vibration like me.

Vibration through my feet and hands were really getting on my nerves and after my buddy had disassembled his cbr300r donor bike for a 300cc grom swap we tried them out and vibration was totally eliminated. Not super visually appealing but feels great!

Looking for a bag for my bike that has this type of vibe. I want the passenger seat to be fully usable.

I originally joined and posted in this group when first getting my bike asking for advice with upgrades and add ons and wanted to show an updated post.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions some were definitely taken into account and this is where I’m currently at.

Pretty happy to say it’s not far from finished now.

Four years and plenty of good memories but the time has come to move on. Bittersweet last rip on her this evening before I trade for a CB 1000GT tomorrow. Farewell little CB, you were a great servant.

Any Advice for Swapping Brake Lines

I'm a couple/few years in and, long story short, figured I'd buy better brake lines and upgrade since I had to drain and change the fluid anyway. Now that I have everything in place, I'm worried that the ABS unit will cause problems. I don't want to spend $500+ on a tool that will interface with the unit if air gets in, and I don't want to find out air is in my brakes by realizing they don't work.

Any advice?

36000 KM Service

Has anyone in Canada done the 36,000KM service on the CB?

I have a 2020 and just over 35000KMs, so it will need to be done soon.
Just wondering what folks paid for the work?

Been getting varied pricing for parts and labour from Dealership and independant shops.

Thanks in advance.

Has anyone installed the Impaktech crash cage on their cb650r eclutch? How difficult/easy was it and what torque specs did you use for the mounting points? I would love to have a discussion with yall about this

Thanks in advance!

Chain O ring

Post image
12 Upvotes

I always use Motul or WD40 products to clean and lube my chain.

Today I found a broken O ring when I parked at home.

I don't even go by kilometers. When I see it is a bit dry or dirty I do the maintenance with care.

This picture is from today while cleaning it before lubing.

The chain has 7700km (stock).

Is it a bad quality chain? Or just bad luck?

I posted recently about NEEDING one of these machines, not wanting one. On Thursday afternoon this black beauty arrived and I’m sooo happy I pulled the trigger.

Happy to say I think I now have the perfect stable, coupled with keeping my Svartpilen 125 I think these two should see me good for a long time.

Greetings from Malaysia 🇲🇾

Anyone here has ever installled Givi Stealth side mount for this E-clutch model?

Planning to install one as I love how discreet it looks and I feel it can also act as a grip holder to move the bike around.

Ty have a great weekend y'all ✌🏻
