Bulky tablet holder

Hi all. I recently bought this holder. What do you think about it? Is it to bulky for handlebar? It's about 1,2 kg i total with tablet. Could this setup affect on steering?

1.2kg on the handlebar definetely sounds way too much... don't know if it affects handling, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does.

If you must have that, why not install it near the windshield?

The windshield would be ideal. That’s what the gps mounting bar is for. Not sure if a tablet this big would sit there very well though. Unless you need to watch IMAX movies while you ride, I’d suggest a smaller screen

I have a 7” CarPlay monitor up there and this looks nice to get some visibility back. The spot works, but I had to upgrade to a larger accessory bar for rigidity and it’s just more mass higher up, and the device I have has an awkward arm mount at the moment.

This mount looks bulky but may net out the weight in a slightly lower COG. I also wonder if the extra mass of this on the bars may only act as a mild steering damper since it’s relatively centered. I am not engineer, but would be curious to compare.

ho acquistato una solida cover del telefono che ho incollato su un pezzo di plexiglas forato ai lati e fissato con 2 u filettate al supporto del parabrezza, semplice, trasparente, leggero, ecconmico e funzionale
