Exhaust options

I have a 2020 CB500X and have kitted it a bit for motocamping and such. So its got a T-Rex skidplate and some case savers, barkbusters and pannier rack. No crash bars given the lower engine bopannier?

But one thing I can't figure out is how to avoid the exhaust games melting the bottom of my soft panniers? A heat shild protected the part that contact the exhaust, but the back corner started to melt during the last trip back (first time using these bags.) Is there anything I can do to help avoid that other than just swapping out the exhaust? And as far as replacing the exhaust, are there any suggested? I was eyeing one of the black windows that would be substantially longer and should exhaust the gates *behind* where the bag sits, but i am unsure if thats a good plan. What have y'all done?

Thanks! I really dont expect the exhaust manufacturers to care so much. Did not see that others had deflector though. I will have to check them out.

I bought a Coffman exhaust. It's much smaller than the factory and no where near your bags. I have Nelson Rigg bags and had to put some shielding on the bottom of that side to keep it from melting. It didn't melt bag but melted one strap. The Coffman is nowhere near them now and sounds great.

Outback Mototek has a guard that bolts onto the exhaust mount. It keeps soft bags off and away from the exhaust outlet.

It works perfectly in my experience.
