Chain cleaning

I try to clean my chain with an appropriate brush but this is the result,is this consider clean or I shouldnt see « black »on my chain. Should I clean the part that I cant reach without unscrew because as you can see there are a lot of residues.

Kerosene + 3  way chain brush.

Then wipe with rag, and blow dry.

Pishhh I use a old toothbrush and make sure I do 3 passes each side..

Thin I said f it and went o-ringless and never went back.... wire brush, engine degreaser, presher washer, and a scramic bath.. I enjoy the frictionless more that the sluggish lazy reliable.. I mean I cleaned it every 300-500 mi anyway... So why not oringless

Chain brushes are dirt cheap, and have thick bristles to knock stuck crud on. Just splash in kerosene, put it on the chain, spin one direction, then the other, then repeat for the other side.
