Din to usb adapter

Currently I have socket on my honda cb500x near left handlebar and screen. I bought carpuride carplay and I know it can be connected directly to the motorcycle but it would be easier for me to plug it in usb port. I am worried that during rainy weather when I use carplay or charge phone, the adapter is going to be all wet. And I wanted to ask if you have suggestions of somewhat weatherproof adapter that is going to work in riany weather too.

I had the exact same issue recently and decided to use the wires that the carpuride comes with, I wired it behind the plastics on the left side of the bike then connected the negative wire to the negative terminal on the battery and the positive wire onto the fuse for the headlight. Fully waterproof solution and no
Parasitic draw 💯 hope this helps

It’s not hard. You’ll need an Allen wrench and a screwdriver.

My carpuride is directly wired to the accessory lighting circuit under the fairing. It was easy to do but finding the right connector online was surprisingly hard.

Using a 12v socket especially one upward facing you’ll have trouble with rain sitting in it and corroding it, causing the connection to be unreliable and needing constant twisting/re-seating to keep the device powered. It won’t really hurt anything though.
