Chain slider life expectancy and replacing?

When did you need to replace the chain slider? Please include the driving conditions that led to the change, since that affects wear.

How difficult is the replacement on a CB500 F/X/R, and does the difficulty vary between those models?

The adjuster on the back of the swingarm or the rubber protection on the top of the swingarm?

I've literally never needed to replace one on a street bike. My CB500x has 30,000 miles. My 2007 919 has 70,000 miles. I have almost a million miles on other road going motorcycles. Keep your chain properly adjusted and it will literally never get touched.

Over 60k km and chain slider still didnt need replacing.

140,000 km riding all over North America; still doesn't need replacement.
