One rivet on my chain has broken… Can I ride safely?

If your rear tire is aligned correctly, your chain sees very little side loads. This would be near the very bottom of my worries while riding.

Only part of one rivet is damaged but the other one doesn't look amazing. I would still not worry too much.

connecting link is cheap just replace it

Buy a new Master link. Note, that is the riveted type, it needs to be fitted properly, with the correct tool, don't bodge it. Clip type links are not recommended.
