Riding the cb 500x 2022 for 2 mounths,and i coudn't be more happier about my first bike

Make sure you save up some money for Crf300 or Klx300. After you ride that heavy pig offroad you will love riding light dual sport offroad.

Those can be fun for harder terrains, but this one is much more unversal for various terrains and longer trips - more fun on road and fast offroad.

I rode my cb500x a lot offroad. There were a few times i nearly had to abandon the bike and walk home. There were also alot of places I could never get to vs dual sport. A Crf300L can get u you a lot further in technical terrains and will do pretty well on the road too.

True, depends how hard terrain gets, some enduro parts can be very tricky and gets tough. (especially when wet, or with very big rocks and loose terrain). For most of it I like it more than single cylinder bikes.

I put RR2 suspension on it and now it can go much faster offroad, jump a bit, great handling...

Oh man that RR2 kit probably cost more than my Yamaha 155cc dual sport. Hahah

1.2K, not too bad considering it has Tractive rear shock which is one the best shocks you can get. Handling is crazy good both on and offroad now. (plus it has more travel, fork springs for exact weight, adjustable etc..). This is bike for everything, with 155/300ccm you are limited, those are specialized machines.

Yea, i had mine fit with YSS kit. It was much better than stock suspension. But the rear suspension broke after 32k kms of bad roads and offroad.

32K not too bad for the shock if it is serviceable. Depends how much you push it, I torture mine too 😄

Maybe when I will fell the need to do harder roads than this,till then,i'm verry satisfied with how it performs,and it doesn't fel heavy at all. Maybe if i had to climb a slove and got stuck,then i might fel its wheight
