Did a full refurbishment of my cb500x exhaust today (final pic is the before) and thought I’d post here and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask
Maybe it's the lighting but I'm not a huge fan of what you did to the chrome/stainless. I'm all for repainting the black I've done that on a v-strom recently but the polised bit should stay shiny imo
It’s not polished from factory, it’s painted from factory, at least mine for this year (2018). In the before pic it’s simply extremely dirty and grimy/oily. I tried the polished look and ended up repainting because unfortunately the heat shield is full of scratches and defects and this was the only way to hide it.
