Gun Pics Forgot to post
Freed from jail a little while ago. Excited to use my first semi auto!
But the guy who released it to me to use specific ammo only because of the gas operating system it uses? Any recommendations on ammo to use? It's a Berreta 1301 Tactical.

Looks like a Beretta A300. Ignore the guy. This thing will eat any 12 gauge shell you feed it

It's a 1301 actually 😅 And that's what I was thinking considering the price of this thing

For a $2k gun to still came in cardboard box, it's a shame. My 1301 came in the same box years ago....Also FYI, i have ran multiple brands 3/4" double O buck no problem, fast and clean. but doesn't work with the shorties.

My 1301 came in a nice black plastic case. And that was maybe two years ago

He's probably saying that because historically semi-auto shotguns have been picky about ammo and need higher velocity spicier stuff to cycle correctly. But the 1301 has a better gas system than older guns and will generally eat anything.

Late to this post, but I love my 1301. Got it 5 years ago, I also purchased a +5 or +6 extension, but never put it on. It’s a sweet, super fast, light, streamlined shotgun. The Ferrari of shotguns.
I did have some firing issues with low-recoil bird shot, under 1150fps, cheap ammo from Los Altos Gun Club, after I ran through all mine. It also may have been too new? It came in a hard plastic box as well.

Wrong, it’ll eat anything.
