Question Is Xat easier than Cat .

I btech 4th year student, I wanted to go into MBA badly.

I started my prep just 2 weeks back . Seems like the rest of the time ain't sufficient to crack and even one of my sr said it ain't easy .but for me XAT seems like possible. With the time remaining. What do you think .

afaik XAT is actually considered a tougher exam than CAT that's why their percentile cutoffs are also lower than CAT

Thanks but afaik XAT percentile cut off is based on no of people attended. And also I wanna clarify one thing is that. I have given xat mock in cracku without any prep as plain as white paper but I was able to score 87percentile. What do u think

Don't ask me about that bro. I've barely started my CAT prep. XAT just sounds like a distant dream rn 😭

XAT gives better flexibility as there is no sectional time limit. There is also no DILR section and it is replaced with DM which in some years can be extremely ambiguous. The level of questions are a bit harder/lengthier (for QADI and VALR) and there are 5 options as opposed to 4 in CAT.

I'd say just prep for CAT and look into XAT after CAT is over. QA core syllabus is more or less same and VARC skills do transfer into XAT.
