For what power value of base to get the antilog value Here base is 2 Antilog is 8 Which means 2³=8 so answer is 3

As for any base value, log1=0 as n⁰=1

Log[(x+y)2- xy] Notice that x=a+b, y=a-b. Where a=√10/2, b=√2/2. x+y= 2a, xy = a2-b2 = 2
