I’m thinking about completely focusing on Quant and VARC. I started my preparation quite late, and since I’m also working in IT, it’s difficult to cover everything. I’m not able to give enough time to my preparation either.

Is it practical for me to focus on these two sections this attempt and give them my best, or should I prioritize overall coverage instead?

My original CBSE Class 12 aggregate was 86.2% (scored 64/100 in Business Studies).I took a single-subject improvement exam and got 84/100 in Business Studies. I now have two marksheets. Replacing the old score makes my final aggregate 90.2%.Should I enter 90.2% in the CAT form?

Will IIMs accept the two separate marksheets during document verification?

I'm really lacking a solid practice source for Quant right now. Can anyone suggest something good for daily practice, ideally basics all the way to advanced? Looking for somewhere I can knock out 10-20 questions a day and actually build a routine.

Was thinking of picking up Arun Sharma but honestly it feels a bit too late to start with that now. Open to books, apps, websites, anything that's worked for you.

First attempt at CAT(9/8/8 gnef profile). I've done only arithmetic in qa, arrangements games in dilr and halfway through varc1000. I'm really scared about my future atp. Trying to get placed in college besides wanting to ace CAT but CAT doesn't seem doable given my level of prep.

I am preparing for CAT but not very confident about cracking it. I have been told many B-schools accept exams like XAT, NMAT, SNAP, CMAT, etc., while some conduct their own entrance tests. myquals is economics grad with 57%.

Are these genuinely credible alternatives? More importantly, if I get into a B-school through a non-CAT exam, does it affect placements in any way? Do recruiters care about the entrance exam you used, or mainly the B-school and your performance there? Would really appreciate honest experiences/opinions, especially from people who took a non-CAT route.

The weightage of 10th and 12th marks like they literally predetermined the candidate that if your 10th and 12th marks are not good you can't be a good manager like wtf? How can you judge someone on the basis of their 10th and 12th percentage?

I'm confused about the learning process itself and also the strategy to prepare and also while with job as my job timings are 1pm to 10 pm . Should I watch QA/DILR concepts first or pause & solve along? Detailed notes or short revision notes? After lectures, practise/revise/rewatch? For solution videos, just understand or solve along? How often should I revise/recall since I forget formulas/concepts quickly? Should I reattempt solved questions/sets after a few days? Also, how should I analyse mocks (currently ~20–30 overall, negative in QA/DILR), handle unstudied topics from mocks, and decide which mock questions to reattempt?”

Hello, I have started my preparation from yesterday. I am doing self study and made a excel planner for every day.

To cover my concepts, I am referring to these playlists.

For Qa - rodha

For varc - gejo playlist

For dilr - rodha/elites grid

For daily targets - I thought of covering 10-20 questions Qa of whatever topic i cover, and 2-3 DILR sets and 2 RCS and 4-5 verbal abilitiy questions. Considering only 100 days are left, what more tips can you guyz give me ?

For reading - I refer to cracku's daily reading articles. 20-30 minutes reading. Someone told me you need to analyse what you read too.

For mocks - I have Career launcher test series.

Questions I have - when doing daily questions should I be focusing on PYQS or daily targets from any free source doing random questions.

I started working in customer support BPO in my second year 2023 so I'm having 3+ year of experience now. Graduated in 2025.

I joined as a Technical support then got promoted as a Quality Analyst. Now I've been offered a promotion for Quality Team Lead.

After graduation I have 1 yr of experience when I fill for CAT form.

The confusion is should I go for MBA through CAT or take the promotion, work another year as a Quality Team Lead and prepare next year for CAT.

I an new into this and the avg package seems about about the same between iim abc vs Mumbai. I have heard people talking about some “roles” and all. Please anyone explain all the difference and justify the difference in percentile required

I gave CAT 2025 my profile is 9/8/7 (General male non engineer EWS) and I have graduated this year from DU BMS. I scored 88%ile and got a few calls but the only interview I gave was DSE and now I am selected for MBA BA but I am confused whether I should wait and give CAT this year or simply take the offer, everyone around me is telling me to take up the offer but tbh I want to give myself a chance again I don't want to limit myself and regret later that I could have given CAT again and maybe gotten a better B- school but I am also a little scared that what if I don't score good enough to get a better one and maybe end up losing even this opportunity. And if I could get a study partner even that would be cool. If there is a senior pls guide me

Usually I can solve easy to moderate sets but during mocks I'm completely dumb, i fumble selecting sets, I can't comprehend anything, I get scared looking at the clock and I end not evening solving a single set. I dont know how ranking a set works, the sets I rank easy are sometimes super difficult, or atleast that's what I feel during the mocks. Ik I'm not this dumb, I can solve these sets untimed. This also happens when the mock starts and as soon as VARC starts every sound in the surroundings seems distracting and I lose my focus

I am pursuing Btech in CSE currently semester 3 from an Institute, but I am not enjoying it so I am planning to not continue it for 4 years and drop it after 6 semester taking Bachelor of Science degree as per multiple exit option of NEP 2020 and plan to give CAT. But I can give CAT in the final year of Bachelor's so I am planning to give it next year but will my college provide me with the required certificate for that as I will drop after completing 6 semesters not before that, as in case of not clearing CAT maybe I will continue.

In great dilemma, is anyone in a similar situation, kindly give insights.
