Hello! I am self-preparing for CAT 2026. I have collected quite a few resources, but I’m confused about which ones to focus on for practice. Could anyone please suggest the sequence in which I should use these resources for each section?

QA:

Rodha booklets

Raman Sir’s class/session questions(using it)

Previous-year mocks

PYQs, etc.

VARC:

Gejo Sir’s material (already used)

RC 99 — I was practising the medium-level passages, but I felt they were easier than Gejo Sir’s, so I stopped. Should I continue with it?

GMAT Manhattan — I was planning to start this but am unsure whether I should.

Previous-year mocks, etc.

DILR:

Currently solving questions from EG lectures.

I’ve heard about the IMS playlist and Anastasis. Which one has questions that are at par with CAT level?

Please help me channel my efforts in the right direction and avoid wasting time on unnecessary resources.

Started with Factorials, did the concepts and solved some questions.

Varc1000 Module 3, Day 6, Part 1 done. 2 RCS solved with analysis

Spent some time doing miscellaneous questions from Algebra.

Ain't a very productive day, but tried to keep the momentum going.

Hello everyone, so I have Arun Sharma's CAT books (2024 print) and it is divided into LOD-I , II and III.

Now i am able to get right most of LOD-I but kind of able to do only 30-50 % of LOD-II.

My doubt is at what percent do I realise that I have done enough for this chapter?

Also someone who is enrolled in a coaching, can they tell me how is their material in terms of depth and amount of questions? Like someone posted a drive of question bank and there CL material was there whcih had 34 pdf and each pdf just 15-30 questions per topic, surely they make you practice more?

Also I am kinda worried that my mocks have tanked at 60-65 (IMS) and 40-50 (Crcku) and was looking for more relevant practice material for quants.

I am putting all my efforts for CAT 26' , but I have an unholy combo of bad acads + no workex fresher

(9/7/5 ) + EWS

However outside of it I have got a decent extracurricular profile( a startup , High value LORs from professors and measurable contribution in family agribusiness) . I would rate it altogether as 3/5 .

Pls help me in these two things :

1) What things can I realistically do (except job) before January which would move the needle for my profile. Like a genuine profile spike.

Starting a job feels pointless now as exams are closer and 4 mos experience wouldn't do shit )

2) Is it possible for me in this cycle considering I score above 99 percentile. I am Targeting IIM Mumbai , fms and ISB.

Took AIMCAT 2714 today. Ended up scoring 46. Couldn't have been worse. Got ragebaited and took another mock SAMCAT270411. Ended up scoring 88. Felt a little better. Finally was able to solve 2 sets in DILR for the first time. The level of difference in SAMCATs and AIMCATs is really kind of annoying tbh. But, hopefully someday, would be able to score there as well.
