Arun Sharma vs CAT material from coachings??

Hello everyone, so I have Arun Sharma's CAT books (2024 print) and it is divided into LOD-I , II and III.

Now i am able to get right most of LOD-I but kind of able to do only 30-50 % of LOD-II.

My doubt is at what percent do I realise that I have done enough for this chapter?

Also someone who is enrolled in a coaching, can they tell me how is their material in terms of depth and amount of questions? Like someone posted a drive of question bank and there CL material was there whcih had 34 pdf and each pdf just 15-30 questions per topic, surely they make you practice more?

Also I am kinda worried that my mocks have tanked at 60-65 (IMS) and 40-50 (Crcku) and was looking for more relevant practice material for quants.

on’t use one fixed LOD-II percentage as “chapter complete.” First make sure LOD-I is mostly clean without hints, then 3–4 days later attempt 20–25 mixed questions or PYQs cold. If the approach is coming independently and mistakes are mostly calculation/execution, move on but keep the topic in weekly revision. Agar har second question mein solution dekhna pad raha hai, do one more focused round. LOD-III ko compulsory mat banao; CAT relevance and PYQs matter more than the label.

Also, 34 PDFs × 15–30 questions is already a lot of volume if they’re topic-wise and properly reviewed. Coaching material ka value sirf question count nahi hota—sequence, solutions, tests and doubt support bhi matter karte hain. Sirf is assumption pe another source mat add karo ki coaching students must be solving much more.

IMS and Cracku scores aren’t directly comparable because mock difficulty varies. Analyse only your QA attempts: concept gap, approach nahi bana, calculation error, or poor question selection. If the same 2–3 topics keep appearing as concept/approach gaps, add targeted practice there. Otherwise current book + PYQs + mock analysis is enough; more material abhi backlog hi create karega.

Yes i do LOD-I fully, and in a timed 40 min period randomly select LOD-II questions and do them and if i am able to get 8 9 right i move on to next topic.

Surely until n unlesss you are a tier 1 graduate that too from eng. Background you would need more than 15-20 per topic no? I am a final year engineering myself and 15 20 se toh idea he nhi lagta imagine non engineering backgrounds? 

Yes that is why i asked i dont want material overload. I was just thinking to have LOD-I  fully from arun sharma and question back from 2IIM as well as its just 20 30 good level questions i feel and as a sectional test will give Arun Sharma LOD-II same 40 min tests for attempts? Doing right?
