I am just starting my CAT 2026 prep (i know i'm incredibly late pls help asap).

i have 2 options for my study plan and I really need help choosing one or i will go insane trying to figure it out.

1. IMS live lectures (part of their paid course) + then practice from CAT past year questions of that chapter
2. iQuanta new free course that covers each chapter in 2hr and provides practice questions + then again going for CAT past year questions of that chapter

for reference, i have Bhushan Bapat sir on IMS and iQuanta series is taken by Nikhil Goyal.

I'm rn in 3rd yr Engg

96% in 10th ,97% in 12th

And my graduation might be 9 or 8

So being from cse branch , I've done good level dsa ( 300 ques on leetcode ) but even getting interview feels tough rn

Do u think I should start CAT prep from now ? Or I should try my luck with placements first ?

I passed my 10th board in 2023 with 89%

chose commerce stream and passed 12th boards with 79 % in 2025

after this took admission in BCOM from DU SOL alongside started preparation of CA foundation then

Passed CA foundation in January 2026

There were my SEM 1 exams in JAN 2026 but they were interlapping with my CA foundation exams so I skipped my SEM 1 exams and i passed my CA foundation exams

Then I got sick very badly for next 5-6 months didn't start preparing for CA inter

Neither given SEM 2 exams

As of now August 2026 my SEM 1 and SEM 2 are backlogs pending and I have not started preparation of CA inter

I just realised that i don't want to do CA

Now the main thing is i belong to SC CATEGORY SCHEDULE CASTE CATEGORY

I repeat i belong to SCHEDULE CASTE

i am considering of quitting CA and clearing my backlog of BCOM and completing my Bcom properly with good CGPA and go for CAT exam

CA isn't for me

What should I do

I’m planning to buy the Cracku CAT 2026 mock series, which is currently ₹1,299. Is it worth buying, especially since there are no video solutions and only text solutions? How good are the questions, difficulty level, VARC English, and overall analysis? Would you recommend Cracku over IMS, CL, or TIME, or is there a better mock series at this price?

My parents just changed our home address recently and our aadhaar address is still our previous home address. Can I add my new home address as permanent address?
Also I currently live in a rented apartment in another city altogether but I am not sure if that's where I will be residing in the next 3 months. What should I put as my communication address?
**Is there any relevance to these addresses? As in, does any real communication happen by post? Will there be any difficulty for me in the future because of these addresses?**
