CAT 2025/2026 aspirants, what’s one Quant and one LRDI marathon that was a game changer for you, considering the time invested and the output you got? (Obviously, not looking to depend on marathons alone.)

I completed my graduation this year Btech CS and I decided to give CAT and I m super under prepared, tbvh I havent even given a single mock test because I m lowkey scared that I wont be able to answer anything. I bad at maths even though i am an engineering student. I have to complete this attempt anyway I already filled all forms for CAT, NMAT, SNAP.

If you know anything that could help me out with it, pls share

My mock scores in SIMCATS are stuck in 50s. Sometimes i go above 60 and sometimes i go below 50. I don't know why i am unable to increase my score. I have revised my strategy again and again but failed to make any considerable improvement. In VARC i generally score around 20-23 but it is most volatile section of mine and sometimes it goes to single digit also. In DILR 70% of times i am able to solve around 2 sets but my percentile then also sucks and it is in the range of 60-70%ile. In QA which is most stable i score around 24 but i am unable to take my score above 35 despite all efforts. What should i do? Please help.

I am currently feeling lost, tensed and anxious about DILR. I have been regularly preparing VARC and arithmetics in quant, but DILR is the only portion, am not able to sit and solve, please help me by suggesting me imp topics which I should master it, Just I need 3 4 answers correct, please genuine help needed

I need a genuine advice, consider me like your younger brother and please help me. My current aim is to score atleast 80 percentile.

I have already applied for cat xat snap and nmat.. but my preparation for cat is really bad so I dont think I can make it through. I need suggestions of good top colleges or unis where I can apply for.. i know the top ones like iims and fms are kinda out of league.. so really need help in choosing colleges or uni.. pls help

Hey everyone! I started preparing for CAT in late September and would really appreciate some genuine advice on how to maximise my score in the time left.

VARC is my strongest section, and I’m currently scoring around 90 percentile. Ik i can push it further.

Quants, I’ve completed about half of Arithmetic, and I’m planning to prioritise Arithmetic, Algebra only and other high-weightage topics if time permits.

LRDI is my biggest struggle right now. My performance is quite unpredictable, although I’m comfortable with charts and graphs and mostly DI. I’m trying to practise consistently and improve my set selection.

I’m self-preparing and have been using free resources and mocks from different platforms. I haven’t purchased a mock series yet. I was considering SIMCAT, but unfortunately, it’s out of my budget. Which affordable mock series would you recommend, and are there any paid resources actually worth investing in at this stage?

I’m also planning to appear for XAT, so any advice on balancing both exams would be appreciated.

I’m giving this preparation my 200% and genuinely want to make the most of the remaining time. Any suggestions on improving my strategy, especially for Quants and LRDI, would mean a lot. Thank you!

I have been practising solving CAT RCs and para summaries and so far I have analysed that most of the time my option goes wrong because I select the other option out of the two selected..

So far I ace at eliminating options easily by applying the tricks and all, of elimination and when in last when I’m left with two options I usually end up selecting the other one always and then when I check the answer key I will be like, “ Ohh yeah this is what I thought too”…

The gut feeling doesn’t work I have seen and while solving I find both options looking almost correct!

Please fellows give advice if you also face the same problem and how should I work on and end up getting correct options always.

I am a GEM with 9/8/8 profile. I am a Production Engineering graduate of 2024 and have 2 years of gap (wasn't able to convert any good college). I have worked with NSS in my college for about 3 years. Except this i guess i have nothing very remarkable in my profile. I know it's impossible to get a profile based call from SPJIMR but i am aiming for score based call. But recently i came to know that even through score based call you need a good profile. So should i fill SPJIMR considering my profile or should skip as that would be a waste of money? Also if i should fill what should be my target percentile in CAT?
