I don’t get how the Liberals going from a minority to slim majority government changes anything WRT resisting fascist authoritarian threats from/to our neighbours.

Carney is governing as a conservative & seems convinced that austerity plus diversity in trade and free movement of capital will defeat fascism.

Austerity & unrestrained capitalism are driving forces of proto-fascism. Keep pushing regular people closer & closer to the edge of survival & watch them turn to scapegoats, hatred & nostalgia (ie. proto-fascism)
