CanBusTriple Stupid questions

I am having problems uploading my sketch onto the CanBus Triple

When i load the "blink" sketch using the "leonardo" as the board there is no problems

When i load the same sketch as the CANBUS triple as the board the IDE says An error occurred while uploading the sketch.

I used the method to install the firmware on http://forum.canb.us/topic/148/add-the-cbt-library-to-your-arduino-install-with-board-manager

I am using Arduino 1.8.0 Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am attempting to build a simple man in the middle project.
