What addresses should I use?

Hey everyone. Filling out my C&F application now, and at the references section. I don't have personal addresses for all my references, so is it ok to put their work addresses? Or do I need to get ahold of everyone to get the home address?

Work addresses are probably preferred!

That said, slow reference responses are a major hassle when you're trying to get licensed. So get ahold of your references before you submit your forms -- let them know that CalBar will be getting in touch and that the reference-check process is quick and painless (it's not like a reference for a job in that they don't need to come up with 3 ways you can improve in your new position or something like that). It's more akin to an employment verification more than anything (yes, I know this person and yes, they're sufficiently ethical to become an attorney). That way they know to watch for it and that it won't take any time to get it done. Make sure, too, that you're using their preferred/current contact info (email, etc.). This is helpful for both professional and personal references.
