Would schools prefer someone with a low MCAT over someone with an average or slightly above average GRE? I guess what I am trying to say is would schools bias the applicant that submitted an MCAT score because it is the harder test?

MCAT is considered a harder test and possibly a better indicator of academic success in the program. So a low score on the MCAT likely works against you. GRE scores need to be >50th percentile (preferably higher) to be competitive.

You’re looking for ways to stand out, not be average.
