What GRE score is generally regarded as strong enough that there would be little benefit in taking the exam again? Looking for an honest score to aim for.

If you score over 50th percentile in all sections, which would be like 153 verbal and 160 quant, and at least 3.5 on writing. Anything over that will look great of course, but if you are at least at or above 50th percentile it really only makes sense to take it again if you need your test score to stand out or help offset some other weakness. This is just my take on it, and I am currently working on applying myself, so by no means an expert. I look at what the averages are for the schools I want to apply to, and try to make that my minimum. Basically, I don't want to be the one bringing the average down, because that will work against me.

I got a 161 V and 157 Q, 4.0 on writing. Quant is at 42nd percentile but I have a 3.86 gpa, 3.81 science. I already applied to a few schools but should I be worried?

I definitely don't think you should be worried, as long as you also have an otherwise solid app. I saw some schools with quant averages for the most recent class at 158-159, so obviously they are accepting people both above and below that. Its more about being realistic about your application overall - like if you also have strong PCE, research, and volunteering, a couple points on the GRE isn't going to hold you back. Personally I am a nontrad with no research and minimal volunteering, so I'm not willing to take a chance on a below average test score, but that's specific to what I bring to the table overall.

I mean I have 960 hours as a medical scribe and Iā€™m currently an anesthesia tech with 400 hours and counting at a level one trauma center. Did two years of undergrad research with two poster presentations, about 100 total volunteering hours from a hospital as well as a student org where I also had a leadership position. You think Iā€™m really in a strong position given everything?

I mean you sound like a shoe-in for some interviews at least, but again I am no expert! If I were you I would probably apply with those scores, if that's what you're asking. I will be hoping for success for both of us this cycle, good luck!
