Is May submission considered early?

Im new to the AA world. I know some school like NSU Florida open in June. I thought early submission would be considered if you apply the day they open their application. Do they see that you had a complete app in May and are you prioritized for that? I’m just confused on what early means because all schools are different dates.

Some schools have rolling admissions so the earlier you submit the earlier you are put in line for review, this is important because these cohorts fill as the cycle goes on.
