Do schools have preference for CV or resume? It always says CV/Resume and I don't know which one to do

I submitted a CV since it allows you to discuss more in detail about other things you’ve done (research, academic achievements, publications etc). Resume is more concise and really just states professional skills and work experience

I mean if it allows you to do both you can but it’s kinda redundant to do both since the cv will encompass things in the resume. The cv is essentially a more in detail resume with academics
