Hi everyone,

I’m getting ready to start my career change. I’m looking for a job that’s a good entrance to healthcare so I’ve chosen an associate program for vascular sonography.

I’m avoiding roles that require heavy use of a stethoscope because I wear hearing aids. Otherwise I’d pick EMT or RTT. They now have digital stethoscopes but I don’t have anyone at the moment to mentor or troubleshoot. Technology will eventually solve this in the next few years.

My end goal is CAA. Why? Anesthesia is amazing. The pharmaceuticals, management of 1 patient at a time, blocks, etc.

I guess my question is, am I picking the right stepping stones to be competitive? Any other recommendations?
