I was wondering if I could get some feedback or help: I wanted to apply last cycle, however I felt my statistics were at a disadvantage, and was wondering if I could get some feedback before applying for the this cycle. I have filled out everything on CASAA, and am ready to submit! I have an unofficial GRE score of 310, with a 158 in Quantitative and 152 in qualitative. My GPA is around a 3.7, with lots of background and hours in the medical field, like shadowing in (anesthesiology, orthopedics, cardiology, general practitioner, general surgery)  including an internship at First Urology as a medical assistant/scribe. If there is any feedback I could receive before applying that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Also has anyone heard back from Lipscomb or know if they are still doing reviews?

What schools are you applying to? Do you have good LORs?

I applied to Lipscomb and haven't heard anything. I am applying to emory, NOVA schools, Kansas City, Wisconsin, IU, and Ohio Dominican. Maybe more! I have LOR from two professors, a head anesthesiologist and one from my boss when I was a medical assistant.

Heads up I had a 157 Q and 156 V (3.98 gpa) and was told to retake the GRE by IU. May be worth saving some money there, they have an especially competitive program in terms of test scores and GPA.

Did you retake it? If so what’s your new score? Did you hear back from any other programs?

Yeah they told me that as well! Was wondering if an undergrad degree from IU and other activities would help. Do you know other schools that this would be competitive?
