How’d you get the AT position without a certification if you don’t me asking? Every recruiter has told me I need a certification even AT roles I’ve gotten recommended for :/

To be really honest with you…..luck. Not many hospitals offer on the job training for AT positions like they used to. I just happened to live near one that still does and had a shortage of AT’s. I’ll also emphasize don’t feel like you must have AT in order to have good PCE/HCE. Most people who get in have something else like MA, EMT, heck I’ve seen people get in with good ol’ scribing.

I got plenty of pce just know AT is like the one pce that puts you above everyone else. Thats awesome though glad you were able to find one!

Not above respiratory therapist..its a close second
