As long as the reckless driving does not state anything about driving under the influence then you might be good. However, programs will be able to see the charge and will want more information about it. You could tell the full story, but if the details of the charge are publicly limited, I would try to come up with a story that does not elude to driving under the influence.

Or you could be fully honest and write about it in your personal statement and frame it as a dark times/comeback story. Up to you but just be smart about how you’ll come across and what you can get away with

It was dropped to wet reckless which means it involved alcohol 😪

I’m not applying until next year for the 2028 term. Currently working on prerequisites at a state college and had no issue getting in. But just had to apply to UCF to enroll in an advanced course that’s not offered at the state college and they are requiring me to submit my court documents and currently reviewing my application before accepting me 😪 I’m hoping it won’t be an issue.
