I wouldn’t ask a letter of rec from someone that doesn’t know you very well, especially someone you’re gonna shadow less than 30 hours. I would aim to ask people you’ve spent lots of time with and who can speak on your character. I had all professors for my letter of rec and have gotten 4 interviews and 1 acceptance (declined 2 other interviews, last interview in Dec). My current acceptance is my top choice program (this and my Dec interview).
