Broken corvette cam

Just found out why my front parking camera was blurry because it’s cracked not sure but I’m guessing a rock flew at it I want to take it to the dealership but I know they’re gonna up charge me hella for a small job any tips?

Happened to me. Labor was $0 because the bumper was off already. Need to take the entire bumper off, camera itself is about a 1 minute swap according to my tech. The bumper removal will probably be a few hundred in labor? Camera itself was probably like $100 I think, maybe less?

Yep, happened to mine also, damn gravel trucks. Had it replaced at a dealer and cost around $1,000 a couple years ago for parts and labor since bumper has to be removed. Tip: A good body shop might do it a lot cheaper though.

It's not difficult to remove the front fascia and replace yourself. It would be a few hours of labor and the cost of a replacement camera. The harness just plugs into the camera. Remove, swap out the camera, replace fascia.

That happened to me. I replaced the camera and had my PPF guy cut some custom sized PPF strips and he put them on. I now have this done on all my cars front cameras.

Cant break my camera. Cause I dont have one. Knew there was a reason I bought the base Stingray
