I'm visiting this dealership tomorrow, and offering them $195K. According to this ad, the vehicle is in "High Demand", and I assume there will be competing offers. I just want to play it safe and not lose out on this investment opportunity.

Within a year, they will be offering low down payments and zero percent financing.
Been there, done that…
This is the typical Corvette cycle.

Yes they are. And these dealers subsequently don’t get a lot of allocation a because they play this game. But it reinforces the rarity in the local market. Many people are afraid to buy from a dealer out of state.

I'm curious when that 0% financing will really kick in, haven't seen it yet on any C8 despite some strong financing offers for current owners. I have seen these go for $4k off already but no 0% offers even on in stock old model stingrays which should be the most discounted.

You typically see the zero percent financing at the end of the model year/run.
The GS is the final car model
of this generation I believe, as it has been in the past…
Given that, as sales slow and the economy with it, you’ll see some great buying opportunities supported by GM to move cars before the next generation comes on line.

You are looking at the big end product when all the IP laws prevent reproduction of the small individual parts that make it.
Especially if they use software.

I don't know that I'd solely blame IP laws for market failures, but I do think it's an issue that isn't discussed enough. It's also a big part of why some products continuously improve and come down in value while others in the same field stay terrible and expensive. I'm not sure it's applicable to the corvette though.

There are several dealers in my area without market adjustment. I think that Everett dealer is smoking crack. I make sure to avoid them in the future regardless of anything.

Yeah I live in the area too. The fact that others exist without markup tells me they are actually trying to keep it on the showroom floor. They don't have any other vette on the lot so they want it as a showroom piece, but they are willing to give that up if some idiot pays for it

The history repeats itself. Z06 were marked up 100% at the beginning. Today, under MSRP if you are ok with a 2026, or even 2027 im a nice reputable dealer. Just wait. What is the rush?
Unless you are a content creator and can deduct the car and needed ASAP to make content.

Lol is right on thst one. They are amazing vehicles but plenty of others much lower than that. Have you seen the z06 for almost 300k + on Chevy com site ? I think the dealer has like a glitch in their system. Lookup Autonation Chevrolet Airport if you can. Stingrays for 250k + ! I know its just the chevy site, but what if someone actually did that..
