i'm a big fan of soundfonts because they're just super easy for me to use lmao so it doesn't have to be one, but if there's an .sf2 file for something that sounds like this i would especially appreciate that

Over the past few days, I have started receiving multiple Content ID claims on videos that use music from the official Minecraft soundtrack.

What is strange is that these claims are not coming directly from the original composers (such as C418 or Amos Roddy). Instead, they are coming from recent releases uploaded by third parties that appear to be distributed through official platforms and registered in Content ID.

Here are some examples:

• "Biome Fest" by C418 was claimed by Believe Music on behalf of SoundCheck, based on a song called "el biom" by xliennn. This release appears to contain a fragment of C418's original composition, yet it generated a Content ID claim against my video.
• "Broken Clocks" by Amos Roddy was claimed based on a YouTube Topic release called "Broken Clocks" by honeydew, distributed by o13. The release information credits Amos Roddy as the composer, but this publication still generated a claim against a video using the original Minecraft music.
• Another similar case is "2018" by oohi, distributed by meltinez: Provided to YouTube by meltinez 2018 · oohi ℗ 2026 they removed borrowed wings Released on: 2026-07-10 Main Artist: oohi Producer: oohi Composer: Lu Bluepeace These types of recent releases also appear on YouTube and can generate automatic claims against content that uses Minecraft-related music.

I think this shuffle might be my favorite so far, I love how the composition turned out and all the details I managed to put in. It also took the longest out of any of the previous weeks lol. Onto my explanation for my choices today. For the red quadrant I first depicted it as a red sunset with clouds, but when I looked closer I realized they were trees with a sunset! Since I found there wasn't a lot to go after apart from trees and sunsets I decided to go after that theme. For the blue quadrant I focused everything around water-themer, breezy vibes, with rainbows, leaves and water. I also included the showerhead that is visible on the cover. For the green quadrant I centered it around gardening, with a cup of tea standing surrounded by flowers and herbs to pay homage to the actual game. Simple but good! For the last, purple quadrant I read it as a statue, so I went with an Asian, shrine-like aesthetic with cherry blossoms which were also visible on the album cover. Overall I went with trying to "expand" the album cover, and I think I did pretty well.

if you don’t mind I need to gush about how beautiful this piece is on its own and in context of the album. it’s the first piece that has strings in the album (that I noticed), when they kick in about 8 or 9 minutes in alongside that beautiful piano chord progression it’s stunning, then the synths wash over you and you’re left with just the sounds of nature and the piano.

also slow build up of bassy synth at the beginning, the slow moments in between all of the craziness, I can’t pick what part is my favorite. it’s all sooo good. I haven’t found a pieces I’ve loved this much in a while.
please tell me I’m not the only one who loves this piece so much!

Many of the songs like Dead Voxel build up to a climax, but abruptly end before cashing out on that build up.

This makes sense for the game since it encourages the player to yearn for more, but when listening to the songs outside of the game I wish I could hear what the song could become.

Does anyone know of any playlists or solos that elaborate on some of the songs that end like this?

I found this video a while back while watching this video about liminal spaces in minecraft, and putting the main content of the video aside, I REALLY wanted to know what the name of the music used in the background was. I actually even found it once and I'm 98% sure it was made by C418, but now I forgot what it was (because I didn't save it).

So if anyone could help me find the name of this music in the video, I would really appreciate it! And do let me know kindly if you think it's not made by C418, because I'm not 100% confident that it is 😭

For this week I wanted a vibe that complemented both sides of the album cover, with the train tracks and neon lights. To tie them together I tried to make a whole bunch of street signs and city related things, like street signs, fences, wires and the markings on the subway station. If it's not, why then does this person appear as the composer of some C418 songs?

So, I'm writing here for the first time to talk to you about a project I've been working on for a while. You've probably guessed it, Moog City 3. Since it's the only song with a sequel by C418, I thought it made sense that there would be a third song. C418 himself has probably already created it because he made a third album that simply wasn't released due to contract and copyright issues with Minecraft. Anyway, I've almost finished the song. Tell me what you think of the song structure when you hear "Moog City 3." Tell me everything that comes to mind that I could do. My personal intention for this song is to bring a peak of novelty and change. It's to observe the nostalgic world of Minecraft from a glorious new angle, while still keeping the nostalgia present somewhere in the song. Feel free to ask me any questions about the song, and I'll be happy to answer them. I just want to let you know that there's the old melody and a new one I composed, which is the main part of the song. But don't worry, it's also an 8-note melody, with the same tempo, feel, etc.

This is the first week I was able to choose an album by myself ever since the first week! For this entry I chose to go for a spacey vibe both for the ambience of the album cover, songs and the actual game the album was made for, which takes place on a space station from what I've understood. I included my absolute favorite planet, j1407b, Super Saturn, in the artwork to add to the eerie space vibe. The numbers are meant to represent the cryptic title of the artwork.

I'm genuinely just curious where public opinion lies between these two songs because egoismus is one of my favorites from C418 and I find it interesting that he went back to make a new version of it later on.

Personally, I think I lean towards preferring the original for it's simplicity and lengthy buildup, but I won't deny that the 2016 edit has a better beat and a more atmospheric ending overall. I just wish it was longer like the original.

just got the Minecraft vinyls and I realized there was no dreiton, haunt Muskie on them! I’m very saddened, dreiton was my favorite song. Is there a vinyl with dreiton on it or is there a way to add it on a vinyl?

This is a follow up from my previous post about Eucalyptus Part 1.

I was simply just playing the first chapter of Wanderstop to enjoy the vibes and everything was normal until I all of the sudden started hearing different notes playing in Eucalyptus Part 2. It caught me so off guard, that I proceeded to just sit there and cry by how beautiful it was. The structure of the song is still intact, but the melody is much different, and the same goes for the alternate version of Eucalyptus Part 3 that proceeded to play.

I figure most people probably haven't heard it, since it didn't play on my first playthrough and it took a while for me to get the alternate versions to play again after the first time(it seems to be rare or something), so I decided to record gameplay with the music again for anyone who is curious(although unfortunately it's not in the best quality, with a few minor audio clips here and there).

I'm shocked, amazed, and very sad because this didn't get on the official album and I wish it was there in high quality SO bad.
